    Haven't watched it for years.
Only football I watch on the tele is when Albion's on , after 5 minutes I usually mute it.

The cynic in me wonders if he has alternative, more lucrative contracts lined up and he needed an escape from his BBC contract. Surely not, people aren’t that devious, are they……..?
    Very good points Kets.

I wanted to watch final score on the BBC today as I hadn't gone to todays game and I could see some interesting scores appearing on teletext.
Seems both final score and football focus were canned as well as possibly some Radio 5 commentaries.
I pay for this stuff, so am a bit miffed these employees/freelancers pulled out. Hopefully they don't get paid and their contract reviewed and if needed cancelled. I think most of them are up their own ass*s. I may not ever bother watch or listen to them again.

Good result for us today, the away form just needs to improve. COYB.

Agree Lineker could have chosen his words better. Anyway here’s the complaint made to BBC about Andrew

I like this site because you can say what you like within reason.
For me the bottom line is Lineker is a smug **** and irrespective of his political leanings is a complete prat.
MOTD was miles better when Lyman was in charge.
I notice there are some odd opinions on here regarding the tories and the working class, imo the current tories are on a par with Blair's Labour there are only a handful of real conservatives amongst them and Labour abandoned the working class under Blair which is when I stopped voting for them.
Both parties in all honesty are crap and not worth voting for.

I think that the bottom line in all this is the hypocrisy. Lineker spouted on about the lack of human rights in Qatar etc. yet he still pocketed his millions for his coverage of the World Cup. If he was so incensed by it all I would have had respect for him if he said that he would not cover said World Cup in protest. People like Lineker think that they have the right to preach to us lesser mortals and that we should take notice. Well, I’ve got news for him, many of us don’t. Whether he had the right to make comment on Twitter, I, like many others aren’t sure. What I am sure about though is his lack of knowledge and understanding of the holocaust and to compare it to us trying to keep our borders secure is beyond belief. Perhaps he ought to go to night school and study history.
As for those pundits who back him by not fulfilling their contracts, sack them and employ others. They could still be ex players, but ensure that they can actually speak the English Language as some of the ridiculous individuals that we have at present can’t string more than two words together, let alone two sentences.
