    Darren Moore

22 games unbeaten. Won last 5 in a row, 3 points clear at the top.
We are proud of you Big Dave
    Well done!

But he's "thick as two short planks"

One of the many knackers we've dropped over the last few years in getting rid of him.

Come on - excellent Wednesday side just like they were last year when he f ucked up promotion ( Wednesday supporters saying it )

The team we had in big Dave’s season were littered with quality and had some Premier players yet we still could not get in the automatic spots. Just makes you think
In comparison what a fantastic job Carlos is doing!

Perhaps he’s learnt from playing out from the back - bringing in mates - letting a number 2 dictate and playing good players out of position ie Gayle and Barry. Great player but not good enough for us!

I wish him luck but Wednesday are a huge club with some great talent!

Just my opinion Boingy and a lot of West Brom fans would say the same. Great guy though.

Many Wednesday supporters wanted him gone last season after they gifted Sunderland the play off final place. Wednesday are a huge club with talented players so they should be in the top three regardless.

I wish Big Dave well though but no good for us! Still shake my head how that team with that quality under Big Dave weren’t doing what Burnley are doing this season. The squad this year don’t come anywhere near the quality of that squad so it shows you what a fab job Carlos is doing with those players!

Big Dave didn’t have the tools to succeed with us when he was here. There was big expectations with a rookie manager and the club was too big for him then.

Rookie managers can improve though. Howe, Dyche and Rogers all got sacked from their first jobs to name a few.

Big Dave had a goal scorer in Gayle - a Premier defender in Dawson - Harvey Barnes who is five times better than Grady plus Jay Rod who was decent too! Are these not the tools?

Carlos has had zero money - bottom to
mid championship players and worked a miracle in comparison! Still no decent striker!!

Tactically Big Dave proved in many games he was out of his depth! Wednesday supporters weren’t happy with his last season so hope he’s now learnt and becomes a top manager!

No I meant personal tools. He wasn’t a good manager then.

Always came across as a decent bloke but agree that he simply didn't have the tools/experience needed at the time he was appointed. Given the quality of players at his disposal he should have done far better and given the results I think his sacking was inevitable after a while. That said, it's nice to see him doing well now and I understand the comments around him having a decent side but his success is also surely a sign of him learning and improving in his own job role.
