FIFA make a sensible decision (for once!)

Finally decided to scrap the proposed 16x3 team groups at the 2026 World Cup and go with 12x4 to accommodate the newly increased 48 qualifiers. All they've got to do now is solve the conundrum of where they'll be played to keep the carbon footprint down as 16 cities have been named as 'host' cities.

    Sensible indeed.

It's going to be a wierd one though, how many miles apart are Mexico and Canadia?

About 2,750 miles from Vancouver to Guadalajara or 50 hours by coach (both in the same time zone bucket that FIFA are using as pods so teams don't need to keep crossing time zones). Could be an unpleasant trip if SE uses the onboard bog!

Get ready for some fun if we qualify and get drawn to play against/in Mexico. Those fans are loco!

It was a laughable suggestion in first place, good to see clowns had a day off and sensibility arrived
