Being a right old twÃ*t, I can remember Tokyo 1964, and David Coleman pishing his pants as Mary Rand and Ann Packer won medals. I can still hum the BBC’s heavily-orchestrated martial theme tune.

Although I remember the names Mary Rand and Ann Packer, my first real memory is of the 1968 Mexico olympics.
But then, I’m so much younger than you.
