All about the results now at this stage of the season , if you play superbly and score 3 or 4 goals it's a bonus .

We got today exactly the same amount of points as we got last week with a scratchy performance .

You have to lower yourself to their level in order to compete with them, and we've done that today. It sounds like we've been lucky, with a bit of a smash n grab result.
But sod em, I've no respect for them so I don't care what they think. Well done to Duff and the lads, that's a cracking result for us. 👍 😉

Funnily enough Wycombe played more football than we did and we were the ones putting it about .

I think their new gaffer has tried changing things from the Ainsworth era and got it on the floor more .

They played some decent stuff at times but just couldn't finish their approach work .

As someone mentioned earlier the big worry is the amount of stupid yellows we keep picking up for things like decent or kicking the ball away. If they pick up a card for something like a handball or a mistimed tackle all well and good but not for stupid antics after the whistle stops play.

I thought Kitching had calmed down but clearly it's still in him .

Ridiculous yellow card to be getting so early in such and important and tough game .

If he brings an opponent down that's fair enough but chucking the ball away after conceding a clear free kick is just brain dead .

What did fans think of Watters ?.
Remember I said in this thread that we don't need a rush of blood from him (or Norwood), that could lead to a sending off.
Well it sounds like he did offer the physical presence up front that Duff wanted, but he was close to getting the red card. Surely he will start with Cole again for the next match, against the mob from Pigswillsbrough. 😊

Nobody covered themselves in glory today up top , they were living off scraps for most of the game .

Although Watters should have done better with a free header 7 yards out which he put wide .

I'd expect Cole and Norwood to start Tuesday night personally .

Watters has no confidence! He got.through in the first half and you could see he never thought he was going to score, and virtually passed.it to their keeper!
On the other hand the goal Tedic scored was superbly taken and will give him massive confidence at last, I can see him stepping up now!

What can I say the first game I’ve missed and perhaps I couldn’t have picked one better.

Only seen the goal which provided a great piece of football and a very good day at the office for the Reds - just love it.

Simply the very best three points navigated this season.

The mist is now falling over Adams Park and I never realised a San Miguel could go down so well.

Something special may well be happening here does anyone agree ?
