I care. I think he should get an inspiration to us all, and to our children (for those that have them).

I bow to his superior knowledge of the game, his insight into everyone in the global world of football, and his witty repertoire.

I am already preparing my 'RJ for Manager' banner and will be making the 542 mile drive to unfurl it at the Kiille game on April 8th. Not that he'll see it as he never sets foot in the place. But he will be able to tell us which prospective managers will be feeling threatened by the support he has.

I am here to prove it’s easy to be a good coach. Only idiots over complicate everything and their teams falter. I could easily do the Aberdeen job….most won’t like me winning things though. I wouldn’t dare brag about it though

I won’t be at the Kilmarnock match….my coaching gig is too important. The 100 percent mob are on a roll. Had a coach from Dunfermline today at the match who praised the way the kids are on the ball especially knocking it out from the back. He said we were far more accomplished with our ability with the ball at our feet than the vast majority of the big clubs he has seen. Really impressed with us.
It’s only 4 matches into the season though…quite a few of these kids are real class. Even my own son who is only 11 can do over 240 keepie-ups. Hopefully one of these wee guys play for Aberdeen one day but too many of the central belt clubs hoover up the talent here. Aberdeen are nowhere to be seen!

When I was your boy's age I was good at keepies-up, I could do more than 250 standing on my head (which is even more difficult). But on a football field it didn't count for ****-all because, funnily enough, being able to keep the ball up in the air is not the be-all-and-end-all (exception is Jim Baxter in '67 at Wembley).

I’m pretty sure red John is getting muddled up with the amount of pish he speaks.

One minute he goes on about how he has his standards from watching the Dons through the fergie years.

Now he is talking about coaching his kids football team.

So I guess the biggest questions would be how old is he and how old is his loon?

    C’mon, don’t be bitter.

It’s great fun coaching the kids team and seeing them all improve very quickly is extremely pleasing as a coach and as a parent. Yes, my boy can do those keepie-ups but his real talent is his ability on the football pitch. I have never seen another kid that age skin players so consistently. His use of the ball is outstanding and he can make anyone look foolish at times.
The team is littered with good players and for a bunch of kids who have only been together less than 2 years I am well impressed with them all. They will keep getting better.
(Have a look on Twitter and you will see a few clips of the lad doing keepie-ups and skills.

Unfortunately at their age we are not allowed to record matches.

I like this coaching gig, i don’t see why these professional managers get themselves into the predicament they do at times. Make sure your players know their roles, play with a smile on their faces and make sure they feel like they are a huge part of your set up. The rest takes care of itself.

Anyway…back on the subject of a new manager….I don’t expect anyone to be appointed this week.

Ahhhh, the blinkered view of a parent. I remember my sister telling me how grest my nephew was. I went to watch him once. F****n pish, but her motherly love couldn't see that. She saw her son having a great time I a team that often won.

    I admit I am biased
