Me & the wife went on a Cherry Blossom Tour in Japan we had barbecued horse meat it’s not for me.

I usually have a bet on the Grand National and then feel uncomfortable watching it particularly when horses fall so I guess that makes me a bit of a hypocrite.
The animal activist guy on the radio was talking about a variety of tactics to disrupt the race including people gluing themselves to fences etc.
If that happens when the race is underway there might be some serious accidents and it's difficult to see what the police can do to prevent it.

Ironically the glue they will use is made out of melted down fallers from last years race.

That's the problem with extremists, they usually don't think about the potential consequences of their actions. Or perhaps they simply don't care?

Latest update: over 300 of these protesters are planning to storm the course, climb onto fences and march slowly across various parts of the track with the intention of preventing the race starting.
They say they would not go onto the course if the race did start because it would be too dangerous.

More interested in the race with rain yesterday should favour lower weights but they have got to be good enough stay the trip not good ground horses. I'm sticking with my 2 selections. My record is terrible in this race 2 winners I've had in the last 25 years Bobby Joe think 98 I got 28-1 price. 6 years ago my 2nd winner in those years one for Arthur 18-1.

Back on topic I think Corach rambler has been allotted a nice racing wright and should go close and is my pick.

I took 6/1 & 13/2 on Corach Rambler, but odds bigger now.

Was reading a story the other day, the experiences the family of a man that died in the ambulance on the way to hospital. The ambulance was held up by rent a mob gluing themselves to the motorway. They reckon the guy would have survived had he got to the hospital on time.
