I reckon Duff will be unhappy with this performance so far. Scoreline flatters us imo. Poor passing choices by the players. Too many 50 yard nothing balls early on drifting out of play. No Interchange give and goes and some poor choices and bad touches. We only started passing it properly after 35 mins. Tedic lacks discipline and Mads was stupid getting booked for daft foul. Why get embroiled with this lot?

It's 3 nil and the game is won but this is an opportunity to increase our goal difference with some decent composure on the ball and let's play some football like we can. If we do then it could be an avalanche of goals because this is arguably the worst opposition team that I've seen us play in years.

All in all a decent day. Boosted our goal difference and the 🐷 lost at Burton. Won mi bet n all(Barnsley to win -2). Now for Grand National lottery unless the animal rights activists have their way.

Everybody’s had a good result today including Burton good win by Ipswich who I expect to go on and win the league and we’re going to have top weight on when we play them.

1st Half Notes:
It’s still laboured going forward.
We still arn’t flowing going forward.
Too much reliance on set pieces.
Not enough coming from midfield - most of the passes going forward are coming from long balls from our centre backs.
Kane and Philips not having a big enough impact on the game.
Williams having a better game - although it is against lower opposition.

2nd half - Notes.
A stroll for us - which allowed them to score.
We never got out of 3rd gear - and listening to Michael Duff post match he seems to allude to that.
Great to see 4 quality substitutes coming off the bench.
If we are to achieve promotion - and IMO I don’t think we will - but to give ourselves a chance we need to be much slicker than that going forward.

But in saying that - it was a great win.

Has anyone else noticed we can't drop out of the play off's (Technically) after today?
Derby can only match our points now but our GD is a lot better!

Hadn't noticed that Perky - but to be honest I'd been certain we were going to achieve the play offs for a couple of weeks now.

I thought the same as well after the recent impressive run of wins against our promotion rivals. That told me we were going to make the Play offs at least.
Thankfully today turned out to be as easy as we hoped it would be, against a very poor team who've lost their way.
A penalty in the league for us at last, and we missed it lol. And it barely mattered that they got their one consolation goal.
The immediate priority now is Lincoln away midweek, and let's see what happens.
