Once we scored we never really looked like losing.
Austin now looks like a player who should be starting , still fresh and could make a real difference on the run in and playoffs.
Chicksen having to swap sides to counter their no 10 did really well, playing in a position he's entirely unsuited to and still got forwards.
The running of Palmer, Austin , Chicksen and Langstaff is unbelievable, absolute monsters.
Strong bench today with a couple of strikers, Nemane and Vincent, suddenly we have options which wasn't the case a few weeks ago.
All I can add to that is that we got a first look at Morias, and he looked lively. We've lacked a bit of cover up front, I liked what I saw.

I would say JB was man of the match today, absolutely controlled the game, and I don't think he misplaced a pass even the one with his right foot lol. I did think it was showing off a bit to put odd boots on to make it a bit more difficult for himself (two right ones I believe). Whatever league we end up in next season, it is very exciting to think this is the version of JB we will see from the opening game of next season.

Must admit that when I saw one black boot and one white boot I wondered if he’d lost one,

He came across to change what I imagined would both boots during an injury to one of their players, and was amazed when he only swapped one boot. Pure quality that they happened to be one black one white

And yes it would be a travesty if we don't go up one way or another but what has been achieved with a new manager in the one year even if we lose the remainder of our games has been immense, 103pts, 111goals and unearthed and resurrected some great talent.

The pressure Wrectum must be feeling, and with their manager red carded so presumably sidelined, gives them a nervy ending and a sliver of hope for an automatic.
I dont see it like that, Wrexham are 1 point ahead with a game in hand, not only that 2 of their games are at home where they are unbeaten all season
There is not a snowballs chance in hell we are getting automatic, the fact is we blew it in the game that mattered

And who are you predicting to win that East Midlands showpiece final?

Actually hold that thought Davy I'm looking forward to asking the question on whether Notts will win or lose the playoffs nearer the time. No anonymous poll , no hiding, no waiting to see what happens no hindsight, a good old fashion prediction.

Back to the Notts midfield. Not long ago at all many of us, including myself, did not like a midfield containing both Bostock and Palmer "don't play well together". One or the other for me, JB was always great backup even in the early days.

Personally I was happy him coming on as a sub to control a game in the second half. Many, including myself, much preferred JB deep and Palmer more advanced. Now thanks to some tweaks and tinkering from Mr Williams they are both now starters.

Does this combo look all set to start the playoffs games together, and the team selection decisions for the boss being elsewhere in the XI? Austin or Scott? Does JOB start etc? Or is this too premature, does it still depend on the opposition and how LW wants to approach that specific game?
