    Some perspective

I’ve just been reading twitter (I know, I know) but there are an incredible amount of knee jerk comments about yesterday’s game. I think just about every player on the pitch has been criticized, someone even suggested dropping Bruno!!!
    Some points to remember:
    - it was one game
    - we are third
    - we’ve WON 5 of our last 6 games
    - even the best sides have off days
    - we will lose football matches occasionally and play badly, all reams do
Longstaff has turned from villain to hero in one day by simply not being selected to start. Burn is now hopeless after being praised two games ago. Gordon’s career is over at 22 years old😆.
I know football fans are fickle but people don’t seem to learn over time how football ‘works’.

Whatever the results here on in and wherever we finish, let’s just enjoy the excitement that we haven’t had since KK’s first spell as manager.

Aye indeed all this is completely true.

We're on a hell of a great run, we will qualify for the Champions league. I still firmly believe we will finish 3rd looking at the teams around us. A Spurs win seals 3rd IMO. It will be a statement win.

What is clear. Our tactics based on the players available have limitations. We have seen teams kind figure us out at West Ham & Brentford in the first half. Villa absolutely played to our weaknesses. Fair play to them. I'm not gonna cry about it. We are Eddie Howe's Super Mags!

We have to get out of the blocks and straight at Spurs throat on Sunday.

In the summer we really need give Eddie the tools required to play different tactics & formations against inform, physical teams like Villa.

With those new players, Eddie will be able to change things in game as well as set up the team to beat individual opponents rather than just doing one thing very very well, which we have done all season long.

This is a blip, 1 game in 6 lost as the Mighty Mr TopToon commented above.
