Fish split from Marillion, and the chicken went solo and opened its own chipper. Across the road, naturally.

Seems like even the dubious ‘Aberdeen Live’ has been following the buttery/rowie/roll debate on these pages:

Robson and experienced number two Steve Agnew have been given the job until the end of the season, but if they can guide the club to a successful end to the campaign and a return to European football next season, then they could force the board's hand to give them the roll on a full-time basis.

No one come up with an answer for the 2 floors of The Bervie Chipper question yet?

I'm not 100% sure the question you are asking, but the two story Bervie Chipper was in Stonehaven, but it mysteriously burned down and now flats have been built.

The original Bervie Chipper is rank rotten now. I suffered it twice last year, thinking it couldn't be that bad again. It was actually far worse than the first one.

Whilst on the subject of chippers. We were in Fraserburgh yesterday and ate at Findlay's chipper.
Excellent food and can confirm a double pie supper was charged as a supper with an additional pie.

The original Bervie chipper (known as "Jean's" when I initially started being fed from there as a nipper) is certainly only on one floor.
The "franchise" in the old hometown that burned down may have been on two floors, long time since I was ever in.
I've no idea of the correct terminology for a "double supper" I've always just asked for a supper and a single when the hunger levels demanded.

I've always asked for a supper with a single too when required, but I tried the double supper on Saturday, after folk on here said it worked and wanted to see what the result was.

OK. Now is a "Supper". cheaper than a single pie and a bag of chips tho ?

If it's nae , what's the point , other than ease of ordering ( when yet peshed and struggling with words ?!!)

    Aye, it it was cheaper.

But you have the conundrum of an opportunity lost with the extra chips. Especially if in a group of folk and one only wants chips or like me the chips are the best part.

    So many questions.

I'm applying for the next series of mastermind. Specialist subject Chipper Suppers.

Good on you for answering. It certainly only looks like it had one floor.
