New Dee4life mission statement

Prior to the OLG being appointed external directors the minutes of every Dee4life board of directors meetings were promptly posted on the Dee4life website.
The minutes were completed and emailed to every director to ensure that they were correct before they were posted in the ‘Downloads and Minutes’ section of the former Dee4life website.
As soon as the OLG members were appointed external directors they set up a WhatsApp Group without obtaining permission at a Dee4life board of directors meeting. Minutes of the Dee4life board of directors meetings are now no longer emailed to the directors to confirm that they are correct before they are posted in the password protected section for members in the new Dee4life website.
The Dee4life website now lists that they currently have 444 members thanks to me insisting that a membership counter be installed in the new website but whether there will be 444 Dee4life members on 17th April 2024 is another matter.
You need to remember that the bulk of these 444 members the majority of whom are new members joined before the Dee4life AGM on Saturday 19th November 2022.
Since then the Dee4life members have not been told what the outcome was of the nomination of their Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors under the entrenched rights of the A shares.
The Dee4life members have not even been told the name of the person nominated as their Primary representative because a majority of the Dee4life directors do not want to upset John Nelms at all costs.

Islay, setting up a WhatsApp group sounds like a great idea to me. I have them for family members, fishing pals etc and they are a great way of keeping informed. Seems to me the new Dee4life board have made a good decision.
As for the minutes of their meetings being circulated to all Dee4life members as I have said there are organisations where the minutes are not circulated, there are also organisations where the information in minutes is regarded as confidential. Since Dee4life have changed their previous practice, it seems to me that it will have been done for a good reason. Given that the previous operating systems achieved very little, because of the intransigence of the DFC board, it seems to me that this change might actually help build a bridge between Dee4life and the DFC board.
As you will know it has been difficult to recruit board members for Dee4life. Let's give the new ones a chance to show what they can achieve. If you want to go back to publicly arguing with the DFC board you can always try to replace the current board of Dee4life. My view is that factors other than the issues that irritate our support will be much more influential and we may/will need a growing Dee4life to deal with the aftermath of our current owners tenure at DFC.

I have previously posted that I was not able to join their WhatsApp group which resulted in me not having a clue what was being discussed.
Eventually it was decided that I would receive an a weekly update of what was being discussed on the WhatsApp group but that never happened.
This eventually came to a head when I used my own initiative and sent an email to Greg Fenton on Friday 13th January 2023 asking if the Club were having an early pitch inspection for the home game against Partick Thistle which was due to take place on Saturday 14th January 2023.
There was a topic on Mad about it and I posted that I had sent Greg Fenton an email about an early pitch inspection.
This was a ‘no no’ as far as the vice chairman of Dee4life who was also the communications director at that time as Dee4life Director Kenny Valentine was handing over the hot water bottles to Greg Fenton on Friday 13th January 2023 and having a meeting with him.
I had no idea that this meeting was taking place because it had only been discussed on the their WhatsApp group and I had not been informed by email.
