Thread: Gareth Bale

Lot will depend who both clubs sign in close season and who leaves. We will keep all our key players and probably sign 4 or 5 players .Names being mentioned are Declan John and Alfie May for example If we sign players like that then we will be top 3 .In my humble opinion your present team is top 6 but your squad isn't but if you sign well then top 3 is a possibility for you

Agree… if Wrexham and Notts (if promoted) hold on to key players, there’s little to suggest that both wouldn’t do well in Div 2.

Momentum and stability is key. Parkinson is a wiley ow’d bugger and knows the game. I doubt he’d allow the current squad to be tinkered with or be pressured into making “stellar” signings if he didn’t think it would work.

Ryan Reynolds sold one of his companies for over a billion dollars earlier this year. I don't think Real Madrid are quite in that league when it comes to wages:

Gareth Bale was good about a decade ago and has slowly declined. Players like him would get bullied to **** in L2 and I really don’t think he’d fancy that and would be injured a lot.

No he didn't he was a part owner so it was between 4 people I believe. FFP in L2 would mean they'd need one hell of a sponsorship to pay the wage but even that there's a limit to sponsorships giving unfair advantages.

He may not have a say who they bring in to keep the Hollywood dream alive though.

People need to read the rules for FFP and as I said previously it really won't effect our club.
Basically we will be able to spend 55% of our income on wages.Last season our revenue was nearly £6 million ( this season it will be much higher because of our cup run streaming and extra sponsorship)
So even taking last seasons figures that is over £3 million for wages.
There is no restrictions on transfer fees and is as seen as separate.
    League 1 it's 60%
