We couldn't match them physically with the players we already had on the pitch so maybe try to beat them with speed/guile?

We are a Lge 1 team at a Lge 1 club, for us to survive in the Championship year upon year T/S has got to sell. And if I was Viktor I would be seeking a transfer for the sake of his future.

Just for the record it appears as though at least 5 people on this thread think we’re going down
A sizeable number on a social media platform recently purchased by a South African want to get rid of MT
Some people want refunds for their Wigan tickets

I couldn't believe it when it happened and would love an explanation. It's 85 mins and we're at 1-1...a score that I think most of us would have been happy to leave with at that point. Peltier is done, and he's replaced by Hjelde...no sorry, that's not what happened. He was replaced by Quina. If we were losing, I get it, but we weren't. But then we did. Just, why???

I've not seen post match comments drive me that since the days of Stubbs when he basically said F*** the fans.

Olly was dead on his feet, yet would still been more effective.

Hugill should have stayed on for me, Kelly alongside him with Cheo actually going wide right.

Speaking of Cheo he got shocking service tonight, we seemed to be desperate to go down the left.

Sadly, we actually looked most likely to score when it was long ball time.

I am however still trying to work out what formation we were going for. 5 apparently in midfield yet we managed to have zero wing play.

At on point Wood and Harding were a front two. Madness.

    Some positives
We would have got a decent fee from sky
Our GD is still intact after only a narrow defeat
    It’s still in our hands
Reading still need at least a win and a draw

Shocking performance from the team and management, worse of all was the subs, Fosu and Quina are both players what run down dead ends, Wiles, did he do anything? Are these the only fit subs we have. The 2nd half was waiting for them to score. I said to my mate, They keep putting loads of good crosses in, and Bramall goes to sleep for a second and Kipre bangs a worldy in. We don't seem to have an intent, home or away, to win the game, just looking to nick it. Is the only tactic that MT can make for our squad?
I've said all along that we'll go down at Wigan......please not.....will things get better if we dodge this bullet?

Such a long drive home tonight after watching that abject display. What was Hugill playing at when he theatrically dived having passed the last defender and heading for goal - madness! Weakest defence we have fielded this season - they were totally bullied all game and every clearance was a panic hoof.
We lack any creativity in midfield - Coventry is no Barlaser.
We knew from the first encounter that Cardiff were quick - why oh why were both Peltier and Wood on the field at the same time. Surely it called for Heldje at left back and Harding right back?!
Subs - it's all been said - mindblowing.
Sometimes you just have to accept that we've been beaten by a better team and that's a fact. However, MT laid it on a plate for them with poor selection, tactics and subs.
I asked in an earlier thread if the players would have been as up for this match as the fans most definitely were. The answer would appear to be no, and neither was the manager.
    Dejected and disappointed!

Good post Glenn. When the teams came out, our lass said what a big side they were,...and they were fast with it. They played with 2 good players up front and caused us problems all the match, this allowed the midfield to support them. We played like an away team trying not to lose at all costs.

It so ferking frustrating watch us,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,aaarrrrghhh
