TBF we have already got the points so must have been playing well enough to get where we are ATM. I was talking to a mate yesterday and he was perplexed about. "We can't rely on other teams loosing". I find it such a strange comment.

What a strange set of supporters we have. If we stay up it’s only cause others were crap or cheated and got points deduction. No if we stay up we deserve it.
Strange bunch of people who think different.

With Warney I'm sure we wouldn't have gone up from league 1 without it being decided on PPG but same as this season however we stay up if we do we'll take it.

If we stay up we have defeated the bookmakers all the pundits and the wage and transfer fee (what's that) structure for the league

I don't think people really understand the achievement.

WE DONT BELONG IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

    But we are.

Wasn't it only last season people was using Blackpool as a template to stay In the league.

    There relegated before us

I agree WLB....injuries have crippled us this season and that cannot be over estimated enough. For RUFC to stay in the Championship given the issues we have had,has to be an incredible achievement.MT has been patching up match day squads since the day he arrived. Then, during the January transfer window,he saw light at the end of the tunnel with the Chairman's backing, but the key additions got injured and so on and so on.He has never had a fair crack at the whip.

One extreme is If Huddersfield only get at most a draw in their next two game we’re safe without anything from us…

Totally opposite if Huddersfield get at least 4 points from them 2 games then they may ease off being safe and lose to reading and we lose to a promotion chasing team and a wounded animal..

But we went through similar huge wobble last season as we did on the ppg season and we all feared the worst. But he turned out round with great performances at the crunch v Ipswich, Oxford, Sunderland and Gillingham. Why wouldn't he have done the same in the ppg season? We'll never know. But you seem to want to continually assert he wouldn't with just as much evidence as if I felt fit to waste my life asserting he would have done. We'll never know, but the evidence seems to indicate that there was a good chance he would have done

Still all ifs and buts clarkey that's for sure, but I can see Huddersfield winning at Cardiff today, just because Cardiff had a tough game at ours on thursday and Huddersfield have not played for 10 days so should be well rested. UTM
