All I remember about that season was we left ourselves short of fit good enough players when it was stopped. I'm certain play-offs would have been best we could have done then.

Of course we can rely on other teams losing but can you remember Derby the other year. They did their level best to go down by losing and losing and losing. The trouble was so did we,in the 88th minute at Cardiff and we beat them to it!

I just hope all these last minute goals and bad luck scenarios aren't all conspiring to what a lot of members on here would deem as an inevitable outcome for RUFC on the final day of the season.Never visited the bottom 3 all season until the final minute of the final game.....imagine that! QPR looked doomed 2 weeks ago....2 away wins at Burnley AND Stoke.....that's how you stay up.Cardiff looked also doomed who then win at Watford and then beat a relegation rival away.....that's how you stay up. Probably the most important 2 games for the club coming up in recent memory.......I sense a 'sliding doors' moment!

In this particular situation you are mathmatically correct, that isn't the point I am making. It is said by another poster that QPR and Cardiff have gone from down and out to safe by winning a couple of games. The number of games you win over a season is the main driving factor, we all know that, we have won the fewest number of games in the league (jointly with the two relegated teams!!). My concern is that we don't look capable at the moment of winning a game of football, if you do that is fine, obviously you are seeing something that I am not. I hope we can lift ourselves to get the 1 point on Monday that will realistically keep us up, survival would be a great achievement for this season, but we have to learn to win 13 to 15 games a season to survive long term. Please do not take my comments as not wanting us to stay up, I do more than the last three times.

The "soft" training ground pitches will be blamed if we get relegated.

This is not a stat just me with my gambling head on why I think we'll be safe after tomorrow. I rarely got doubles up when I was gambling on the horses. Last night on the lotto got 4 fivers back for 2 numbers on 4 lines didn't cover what I put on. So tomorrow in my mind millers to win is other part of my double. I usually get one part of a double up!
