Ex-Sunderland Fc striker Kevin Phillips leaves club, after leading South Shield has manager to promotion.

South Shields were champions of the Northern Premier League, winning the league by 8 points, & will
play in the National League North next season.
Kevin Phillips leaves the club by mutual consent, saying he thought it was the right time to leave the club,
for a number of reasons, & look for pastures new.
