Nee spuds Chalky, just a choice of of pies with mushy peas. I had a proper Scotch pie, Mrsgriff the cheese and onion, but with pickle instead on account of her not liking mushy peas, the heathen.

Gravy would have been welcome but, as it’s a favourite of red squirrels and we were eating outdoors, I decided against.

Yeah red squirrels and Tizzie Whizzies (or whatever they are called) are bloody everywhere in Cumbria aren't they!

I'm not being taken in by locals and the Cumbrian Tourist Board of spotting them again,tbh I think that it's cruel to dye the local grey squirrels red and I'm seriously thinking of bringing this to the attention of the RSPCA and see how many of your cash cow "red" squirrels you see when they get involved,what will be the next money making scam then eh,Loch Ness type monster in Windermere?

Bloody hell,you headed home* after a skinful in the pub,hear some rustling in the hedge and take a very blurred photo of stray cat or summat and declare that theres wild deer roaming around Rochdale

* Bdb has trained his dog to take him home on a long lead In case he can't remember which house he lives in,I've seen the photos,Ollie is like a guide dog for the drunk
