As far as I can see, we're in a fractionally better position than yesterday. Same points advantage, with fewer games to play, and one of the cheeks out the way!
Yes, I saw that curious headline. Improved slightly on our comparative goal difference too.

I'd be amazed if two home wins isn't enough for third as that would mean hertz having win all 4 games left including sevco away and st mirren away

Agreed .... we were already up against it with Shinnie and McCrorie absent, but Ah thought Coulson did well coming in.

Ah did let oot a groan when Shayden Morris was fielded, but have tae say, in his 14 minutes, did enough to suggest he is worth hanging onto. Ah think Barron needs a pre-season if he's gonna get back tae what he was tho, and nae sure exactly what Watkins brings tae the side other than 'experience'.

There might be a few funny handshakes going on at the next Lodge meeting to ensure that Rangers have an "off day" against their Edinburgh pals.

I agree with you regarding Beaton as referee. I want to know why he constantly gets picked for our matches at Ibrox. I wonder how many out of say the last 6 that he has been the ref between us there?

Ah well, zero surprise at the result there.

We’re set up as a team much, much better and we’re much more solid at the back - the back 3 all had good games again today - but until we get players who can actually keep the ball, pass and move it properly and not just give it away constantly - mainly in midfield tbh - we’re not getting any closer than this.

Im afraid our midfield just don’t find space and use the ball well enough. Limits the options from the back, hence the constant aimless long lumps forward.

Decision making is also often poor - one point second half Hayes broke well, ran clear and could have played in - Coulson I think - on the right who had a run in on goal. Hayes just didn’t see it and tried an impossible pass back the other way and just gave it away.

Happens far too often for us to get any closer to the uglies at the moment.

Effort, attitude etc all spot on again. We need better players though. Sadly, I dont think we can afford them.

I also groaned when Morris came on, but I was also pleasantly surprised. Thought he showed some nice touches.

No harm done at the end of the day, with the diets losing and as I said, no surprise us losing at Mordor, but you have to say that two one on ones and no goals is never gonna get you a result down there. Duk’s been immense though, so I’ll forgive him just this once…

The last 2 seasons he has been the referee for our games at Ibrox 3 out of 4 times.

Having watched the Duk/Goldson incident where Goldson wrestles Duk to the ground it’s questionable why var wasn’t even used to check it (Robson said as much in his post match interview)

Bizarrely a few Dons fans are saying it wasn’t a penalty because Goldson wrestled him to the ground outside the box and it carried on into the box.

Well I remember the St Mirren game at Christmas where Stewart done the same thing and the referee gave a pen and sent him off.

Plus he never even gave a free kick when it clearly was that at least.

The games so corrupt up here they don’t even try to hide it

That time we drew 2-2 at that stinking shyte hole under Glass, their two goals were the result of clear hun bias refereeing. Everyone was talking about the penalty farce but the decision to award the free kick is up there with the worst decisions I’ve ever seen. It was just a case of the hun c*nt giving them a free go to put the ball in our box because they could’nt manage it playing football.
I’ll still be angry about that when the sun swallows up planet earth

If I was Robson i would definitely be making a point of Beaton being the referee in these matches far too often.
