How do the players react? Need to get a replacement manager sorted ASAP. Wish both Bowyer and Barr well.

what an upheaval, just when we need some continuity, now the backroom staff changes as well.
only manager i can think of at the moment is ROBBIE NIELSON, know he is an ex DAB, but he is a experienced manager.
was just about to renew my season, now i will delay.
nothing is simple with DFC !

    I agree.
Three players with a contract for next season plus a player signed from Albion Rovers on a pre contract?
Now we have no manager or assistant manager. I hope that Nemls and Gordon Strachan have been doing their homework and have a list of suitable candidates already drawn up just in case they needed it.
We do not want another situation when Nelms stated after sacking Jim McIntyre that he wanted the next Dundee FC manager to be experienced manager with at least 100 top flight games under their belt and then he appointed James McPake who had no previous experience of being a top flight football manager.

My worry, exactly this. Having cleared up the situation regarding Bowyer and Barr, we now need to sort out a replacement management team. no internal promotion stuff. Think we should be an attractive proposition for once. If Nelms didn't talk to Bowyer, as alleged, that may be a big step forward in strengthening the football side of things?

The rumours suggest that they have already identified the successor. If true, very uninspiring indeed. Dundee, under Nelms , don't seem to want to offer the job out. Someone always knows a bloke that will do. And usually gets it very wrong, to our utter despair. Bowyer being the exception during the Nelms era.

We would be a far more attractive proposition if Nelms concentrated on his new stadium development at Campy Nou and we appointed a Chief Executive who knew how to run a professional football club.
