When it looked like we were going under, having sold our senior players and the kids were relegated on the back of a massive points deduction due to wages not being paid, several groups of Wigan fans went to celebrate outside our stadium and have photos taken of them partying outside the ground.
One of our senior players at the time - Josh MacGennis - downed tools midseason when he didn't get paid and jumped ship to Wigan - who he still plays for - and now he's not getting paid again
    Sweet.

it is a laugh seeing old adversaries having some misfortune but I'd never want a club to be forced to cease operating, even the Bastids, life wouldn't be the same without them.

It's taken them 3 years for the two factions to agree to co-operate, hence the lack of progress.
Good intentions ATM but that needs to be converted into actions. Long before they went under they had struggled financially - I remember sponsoring a seat for a tenner at one stage - so they need to build some decent foundations and Bury Council could help with that.

You've got nowt to worry about with Devante Cole, hes really lost his form and confidence again.
Jimmy Norwood puts it about and he has the experience, but at his age he can't play much more than an hour!.
We can do the sh*ithousery stuff as well which is a shame, I'd rather it be a good free flowing couple of games with some good competent refs. 😉
You have my permission to reproduce my comments on BBS Acido....oh, hang on a minute...

Just announced over 20k now sold to ST holders prior to going on general sale BTW.
With the restrictions on travelling fans being in place, can't see the attendance exceeding 26k in the first leg.

Indeed, they knocked Clitheroe out of one of the Cups last autumn, it took them a replay to do it and over the 2 games Clitheroe were the better team. On the evidence of those two games they're a million miles away.
