It's doubtful Big Dave will be visiting the Hawthorns next season. They are taking a right whopping at the mo

You beat me to it Phil.

Wednesday 4-0 down and deservedly so.

Dreadful 3-5-2 formation by him and they look so old fashioned compared to Peterborough.

I think he’ll get fired next week.

Big Dave blew the play offs last year against Sunderland due to no plan B and many supporters wanted him out. Wednesday have a great squad and fantastic support.

This season Wednesday were too for a while and blew automatic and now have been thrashed in the first leg of the play offs!

Great guy but never a good manager! The team we had when Big Dave was sacked was full of great players - far more quality than the current flops and we should have easily topped that league with a decent manager!

I think that’s stretching the use of the word “great” mate!

Our squad was far better than it is now but nothing approaching such hyperbole!

I would be quite happy with a Peterborough win, especially if they win the final; Peterborough is quite close and a nice easy away game to go to, made better by that big barge on the river for a pre match drink!

Also, of course, I will never forget that Peterborough pub with our old friend Oldham…………………..

Sheffield Wednesday won four of their last five games. We know that play offs can be devastating. Losing to villa when we were the better team in both matches for example. I’ve got nothing but admiration for Big Dave, he’s done great. Yes he’ll be sacked because everyone is when they “fail”.

Don’t know how you say he’s done great. He’s failed at managerial level at most clubs! Two play offs for a huge club like Wednesday and no plan B last season and being hammered last night is failure!

The squad was exceptional compared to now
    Gayle
Holgate - still a Premier player
Dawson - still a Premier player
Barnes - still a Premier player
Johnstone - I prefer Palmer but many would take Johnstone and much more value
    Brunt - good then
    Jay Rod - great player
Murphy - still a Premier player
Gibbs - was a decent Premier player
    Hegazi - a great defender

None of our players are better than they were! Some of these players were excellent and God knows why Moore couldn’t get this side promoted!!!

None of our players are Premier material now - not one apart from maybe Okay!

I know you didn’t rate Dawson but he was a superb defender. Great for West Ham and one of Wolves best players even now.

I shake my head at the rubbish now compared to that side. We don’t even have a goal scorer now and Gayle and Jay Rod were banging them in for fun!
