There are a number of Dundee supporters who are concerned that this is the end game for FPS.

I have spoken to a number of Dundee FC supporters who think that FPS want to merge Dundee FC with Dundee United FC with the merged team playing their home games at Tannadice.
Fortunately we have the entrenched rights of the A shares to block this move whereas as the United supporters would just have to accept it.
In my opinion it would be an even more hostile merger than the merger between Highland League clubs Inverness Caley FC and Inverness Thistle FC or Wallace Mercer’s proposed merger of Hearts and Hibs in Edinburgh.
