Quote from MT about Ferguson "We wanted him out on the pitch as much as possible because he's the one player who puts the ball exactly where we want it."
Even you should be able to work out from that why Ferguson's contract has been extended.

He's past it for this level. Surely we can get players in who can cross a ball! Harding he's just learnt to but he's gone.

Ferguson is one of the few players willing to press.

Eaves wont be staying he walked down tunnel before end on Wigan game and didnt come out to clap the fans with the rest of the squad and staff.

I’ve always been bemused that someone can earn a decent living from playing football and be missing some of the basic skills
Crossing, tackling, passing, kicking it to where it should go

Not talking about Fergie as he’s just what we need, just generally

Shane Ferguson is a very good footballer who has been playing for half the season with a groin injury and has played a big part in us stopping up . Yet you think he is past it and we can get better , you're living in cloud cuckoo land pal

Single handily turned the papas final in our favour when he came on .
Great player, seldom gets dispossessed and has a knack of getting himself out of some very tight corners when boxed in

Agree, massive improvement on Miller when he came on. What won it for us was our subs were better than their subs and Ferguson looked as though he was really enjoying himself when he came on. And yes, he can certainly cross a ball.

2nd most assists. Chipped in with some valuable goals. Full international. But past it. You don’t half talk some rubbish.

Shane aside, there is significant room for improvement in our crossing ability

A bit off the topic but, how does M Robins see NBC that we didn't? Is it that he doesn't have play RWB and run his lungs out with them?
