Would think Middleton with Mcleod up off or by him, Middleton has played up front in the past, certainly we won't be playing highballs, get behich and immi/harkes further forward too, try to play a not and create

So often we've failed on that dodgy pitch trying to play high punts, it doesn't work.
You have to keep it short until the final third.

Exactly, will it really be any worse, it wasn't exactly looking good for us anyway and we do rely overly on punts upto Fletcher and tbh a lot of the time he loses possession, there on sat he won a header, managed to get to the ball himself the fluffed a simple pass to a team mate out of touch, he isn't prolific either with chances, might end up being a positive or Livi might just beat us comfortably, is what it is at this stage

This is starting to have horrible parallels with 94/95 where iirc by the end of the season we were ravaged by injuries and suspensions losing the likes of Petric,Brewster, Badger and Welsh for the last few games. Infact, one of Welsh’s last appearances was starting up front in a desperate measure from Billy Kirkwood away to Thistle.

Exactly, so it's going to be one up front. We're not going to change our entire formation and game plan to suddenly play two up front with only one training session left.
