Always a good type of topic, especially when you've escaped.
Best performance? So many to pick from over the seasons even with limited viewing in person. If you are ST holders you've got a plethora of dominate impressive wins where we steamrolled a side. Wiping the floor with dark horse Sarfend a great candidate.
Worst ? Probably a slightly fortunate draw at Maidenhead, just couldn't get going , allowed one of their players players look like a mix between Ronald Koeman and Pirlo.
Best ground visited? Wembley, not that old dump we had fond memories out in the 80/90s but the shiny new one. Aldershot away end will be missed. Proper old school, just what you want.
Worst ground : Plenty to choose from. I don't like Bromley, horrible away end. Wealdstone was errrmmmmm cute and with character in a amateur, what are we doing here sort of a NL way.
Best player (Notts) : Palmer, first name on the team sheet for me and reassured me that we wouldn't drop out style to NL level we were going to tippy tappy our way out of NL, even though you aren't supposed to.
Ruben for consistency being better than almost everyone. Macca for one season record breaking heroics.
Best Player (Not Notts) : Obviously we don't see too much of opposition players in person relying instead on BT sports, but some real stand out quality at this level Madden, Mullin, Dallas, Cheek, Sbarra.
Worst player (Notts) : I may go with Effiong (for us, obviously much better elsewhere). A few other real disappointments like Mitchell and Brunt but hard to pick a shocker. For me Sloth doesn't count, never saw him.
Worst Player (Not Notts) : Dozens and dozens and dozens of players who made true sunday league level mistakes. Ruben or Roberts made plenty look very poor, Nemane skipped by many others. Don't know or can't remember any of the names, referred to instead as that cr@p centre half, their awful right back, the big lad up front for them...
Best moment: Unsurprisingly Baldwin's second and Jones versus Borehamwood especially the former. Bostocks goal at Wembley, the second penalty save (when I allowed myself to finally relax in the game as I knew it was our day) and that winning moment from Scott and the 40 mins in the stadium basking in it afterwards.
