They also made this season's two playoff games so very very special.
Some interesting stuff here Laddo, re Grimsby winner and Torquay's early goal were offside according to VAR so should have never been given, making the injustice twice as bad.

The penalty at Wrexham if scored gives us the title if we win against York on the last day of the season.

Correct it did make the 2 play off games more special, and the end result was we were promoted, which i think was essential for this club, to capitalise on the momentum of a fantastic season, if we had failed it could have been a very bleak few years, with our better players or even manager leaving, and us having to start from scratch, instead we can now push on in L2

Have disagree with most of that Davy.

There was no VAR so it doesn't come into it for me.

I don't think it works like that Davy. If Notts draw at Wrexham, Wrexham win at Torquay without any trouble IMO. They had zero motivation for the actual game as the title was won. We would have beaten York but too little too late.

We will never know of course , and it could have been very bleak but with these owners (and with this head coach) I would seriously doubt it. If you have good owners , who give the manager/head coach and players a solid platform you never know what would have happened. Without good owners and good practice you are off to a loser from the start.

Well the goals were proven to be offside on the TV, so for me it made the losses all the worse- not that it matters now, we were due some good luck, and finally got it this year in the play offs.

The main thing now is we have capitalised on a wave of momentum by being promoted, with a solid platform , good owners and good practice, this only means good things for our club, i predicted earlier this season that if we could return to the EFL, there is no reason why we can not steadily rise up the pyramid.

This is a BIG one, i also predicted we would reach L1 before Mansfield.

Now we are back in the EFL, I am glad the EFL think the way i do, and have now introduced VAR into the play off finals, hopefully they will integrate it for all Play off matches, as I have seen Notts lose out too many times with poor ref decisions in play off games.

The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system will be used at all three upcoming EFL Play-Off Finals at Wembley.

The Finals weekend will take place across the May Bank Holiday, with the Championship on Saturday 27 May, League Two on Sunday 28 May, and the League One finale on Monday 29 May.

Full details and key dates of the Play-Off schedule in-full can be found here, with 12 fixtures across eight days, starting with Sheffield Wednesday’s trip to Peterborough United in the League One Play-Off semi-final this evening live on Sky Sports.

Match Officials appointments for the Finals will be confirmed in due course.

Thank god we are finally out of this hell hole of a league. I really dont know, in this day and age how so many of these clubs are allowed to trade with such disgusting facilities...
I know everyone looks for different things, but you’ve probably named the four best away trips since we’ve been down here there haha. Harrogate August 2019, Solihull Christmas 2019, Barrow Spring 2020 and Dorking September 2022 were all absolutely brilliant days out. Halifax August 2022 and Torquay Spring 2023 also well worthy of a mention.

Is it back up already? Or is the photo from pre-relegation?
