Had a decent season with a team that have been relegated to League 2 having shipped 77 goals is hardly a glowing reference for a defender but I guess he's young and tall. However, as Brin often says, you have to speculate to accumulate so who knows? Maybe MT and RS is the answer to that question.
It is about balance as most things are, experienced players down the spine of a team, can only be a good thing, yes we need youth and pace as well.
We all know, well most of us, that there is nothing wrong with being over 30,and under 6 foot 5 if you are a professional footballer.
People like Morrison and Sharp would be a real asset for us ,not just on the pitch, but around the club, obviously players like this won't play 40+ games a season ,so you also need plenty of younger players as well, but experience at this level is very important.
We should have a try at getting Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from palace on loan.looked great at charlton on loan last season maybe persuade them to let him out a higher division up and natural progression etc.though he will not have gone unnoticed for a few championship clubs to be in for him.
Any chance we'll approach Leeds for Hjelde again? More so if they drop into the Championship as they may be looking to cut their wage bill.
Fringe players are usually the first ones to leave along with the high earners. IF, it's worth attempting budget wise, I'd be looking to Huddersfield for Rarmani Edmonds-Green. Still only 24.....gru would be pleased at this IF it were to come off.

I would like us to maybe have one or two experienced players with one to sit in the middle to control the game as and when required
It’s a risk though finding one who’s still motivated and has still got ability
For every Scott Minto there will be many Dipstick Blackstocks
We had Jody Morris and Carl Robinson before and they transformed our seasons
Remember Wes Hoolhan for Cambridge who ended up getting a standing ovation when subbed at the nys. We couldn’t get near him
