Russia is trying to bomb Ukraine into the dirt, and it's people with it, and all that concerns some people in this country is speeding fines.

Just another day in the asylum.

    This is very true sub.
But once rumbled should the try to bluff it out or bite the bullet. I think initially they would try to bluff it out.

I am not trying to be judgemental but it does appear that more and more of our politician are not really trustworthy.

Hit the nail on the head there VC, however, sadly, it is not just politicians who wear the untrustworthy hat, there are many others in high positions who are the same. Have a look at the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Labour-run Wales and try to make any sense out of the whole issue which has been going on for years and is set to continue, except for those who decided to blow the whistle ob things and ended up being sacked.

Gives a whole new meaning to the cheery saying “Godspeed”

Dan Hannan sums it up succinctly in one sentence.

"Absurd efforts to concoct a scandal around Suella Braverman – amplified by imbecilic broadcasters – are making this country look ridiculous"

What's the point in having a top job if there are no perks Supersub6?

Food prices through the roof, rampant inflation, NHS waiting lists longer than Pinocchio's nose, UK child poverty is really absurd, social class gap widening between the haves and have-nots, food banks on every corner, armed services underfunded, 100,000 people incarcerated in our jails, peaceful protesters arrested and locked up and it's somehow a national crisis that Cruella tries to privatise a speeding course. FFS the Tories have privatised just about everything else. Absurd hardly covers it mon ami.

Tunnel vision again BT , if you think the Tories are to blame for everything, you don’t have to go too far back before your beloved party were wrecking everything as well including wars ( illegal ) and gold reserves.

As with all these situations I keep looking back at what happened and who did this and that but it always comes back to there is only one pot of money and you can not satisfy everyone all the time, I think if you go back numerous years though there were people in politics trying to do things for the country - where as now it really is all about staying in power and how they can gleen as much as they can for THEMSELVES,

That where politics has gone wrong in our country - you say the gap is widening and it is but you only have to look at the top echelons in politics to see why , the Conservatives simply aren’t Conservative and Labour isn’t a working man’s party those days are long gone , massive salaries, private education all round for all of them.

This country is F —-ed , we need a massive shake up and fresh ideas and drive sadly it won’t happen.

THIRT-E-E-N f*cking years is an eternity in politics army88, Winston Churchill won the Second World War inside five years and Nye Bevan had founded the NHS and had it up and running within three years.

Watch the two Tory clowns going head to head on Prime Minister's Question Time, you are spot on mate the UK is well and truly f*ucked, in no small part down to THIRT-E-E-N f*cking years of continuous Tory rule.

BT, not strictly true though is it. In fact, it was 13 years of Labour government which ended with the outgoing Chancellor telling the Tories to enjoy theeir reign because there was no money left in the coffers.
The Tories were then not strictly in control because there was a Coalition with the Lib Dems for 5 years.
In view of the above, we have not had 13 years of Tory Government because they only really took over in 2015, therefore, they have done what they have done in just 8 years whereas it took the Labour government 13 years.

We have not had a leader in the country since the mid 1980s llike it or like it not, it's easy to see when you have no affinity to any party.
