Why would the youngsters want to stay…. hmmmn…..

with the outgoings there will be clear opportunities

Playing in front of 36k at home

Outside the prem not that many clubs with our history or sizeable fan base

The stated ambition it to bounce back.

So there may be one American player left on the books who was arguably our best player this season.
WTF I Hope, he won't be playing championship I can guarantee you that.
    Aaronson good riddance
No humm about it drameh has already gone
Shows you how fickle fans are supporting arsholes running the club and filling their pockets.
What ambition? We got crap players no manager no owner and no one to manage the club?
Unless in the next couple of weeks, things start happening the only bounce I can see is me on the chair watching and screaming.

Soon be moving down the sidewalk with some bounce in our step instead of feeling stuck on the ground with lead in your ass.

Defo time to lighten the 'emotional load' & rebuild greater resilience so we can all recover from being knocked down - hopefully anyway.

I said quite specifically "And no, I'm NOT comparing", you seem to have missed that, how strange.

My one and only point is that were LUFC to be blessed with a coaching staff who could identify and promote some of the players who have either been loaned out for spurious reasons, or who languish in the U21s (whilst showing the senior side what promotion looks like), we might well have saved a substantial proportion of the £150m that has been wasted on the likes of Arronson, Roca, Rutter etc

I don't claim, never have, to have any "youth development" experience or expertise, so suggesting I have is a bit stupid. However it would appear that neither do those in positions of influence in the youth development programme at LUFC.

As for anyone making a fool of themselves, perhaps if you read my posts and "digested" the content before leaping to the keyboard at some ungodly hour of the morning, you'd look a little less foolish.
You listed some young players in your “if their good enough their old enough” response to me… in your continued rant with others about LUFC sending out players on loan as some sort of statement of rejection by the club and those players will feel some resentment…
I merely pointed out to you that, as you state Harry Kane did make his debut at Spurs at a tender age… this was after being out on loan.. and guess what after his 1 debut they sent him out on loan 2 more times… now… use all your deflection and ignoring skills to tell me how loaning out players in your view is a form of rejection…..

Also often better for them to start in lower leagues as less pressure - Scholes, Butt and Neville could be added to that list and Giggs who was clearly destined to be a very good player had his game time carefully controlled.

Players played too much too young can often suffer physically or mentally later on - Michael Owen has said he thinks he played too much too young which caused his hamstring problems later on in life.

I have nothing but respect for Gnonto but do wonder if he's one that's being pushed too far/too fast. He's plenty good enough to play any league and playing on the Italian national team but wonder if the development stagnates. Especially if we sell him to a team like Citeh or Arsenal.

I know it sounds crazy but wonder if a year in the brutally competitive championship would not do him a world of good? He can beat players at that level and maybe develop a little maturity. He does have a quick temper that is going to cost him with the marginal officials in the prem. Needs to marshall that.

I hope we sell Meslier for big money. He could end up being a world class keeper for years but don't think that's happening with us. Take the money and run.

Hope someone takes the $30 million release clause on Aaronson. Sell Koch,Rodrigo, Harrison, Firpo and Ayling. Need to open up some spots for the incoming.

Adams does not have a release clause. The 49's can afford to hold him along with Sinistera and Summerville. Not sure on contract situation for Robles but he was fine in goal. Resign him if needed.

One last comment that I forgot to mention. Radz is buying Samadoria. the 49's will buy us. they'll have to work out some details on who's responsible for the KJA fee along with some other items but it will get done and I think the 49's will just go ahead and pay a little over the valuation just to get the deal over the line. They have big plans for us. 25 million is not going to break the plan.

they are looking long term so they can play "long ball" on the rebuild.

Not sure why you characterise my observations on the loanees and how they have been treated as a "rant", I'm simply expressing an opinion. Perhaps you would prefer those who don't agree with you not to have an opinion, or at least not to have the temerity to express it?

Also, I have never said that sending players out on loan (now or at any point in the past) was a rejection of said player(s), simply that the loanees might see it as such, given that those who were subsequently brought in at great expense (record breaking in some cases) to fill the roles that several loanees had already filled in the 1st team with a good deal of credit, were no better and in many cases inferior to the loanees in the positions they were expected to play in for LUFC. It would be entirely understandable if the loanees did indeed feel some sense of resentment in those circumstances (and I'm not "inventing" or embellishing the circumstances).

You didn't "merely point out" anything.

Your opening remark "Talking shyte as usual", followed by the Kane example, and ending with the ever-endearing "you have no idea about youth development and every post you put up shows it... stop making a fool of yourself... again", ignoring (as usual) that I have never claimed any expertise in youth development of any sort in any sphere of activity or at any time, but let's not let fact get in the way of a good old rant, eh?

Btw, I wouldn't know what a "deflection" skill was if it jumped up and bit me, but ignoring, sure, I've done that with HO already.

Very good question, I look forward to seeing the several oracles on the subject giving their expert responses.
