Harry Maguire to be paid £10 Million to LEAVE Man Utd!

The football world is crazy especially at the top of the Premier League.

Harry Maguire has allegedly been asked to leave Man Utd after the FA Cup final with City and, he's to receive a staggering £10 Million do so. Just how much money is awash at big clubs?

It's like walking into to rob a bank! He's 30 years old, gets a whopping colossal pay off and can sign as a free agent for another team probably on Millions a year......unbelievable Jeff!

His current contract is worth £190,000 a week and still has two years to run so worth £19,760,000 so, it looks like they are willing to pay him approximately half of it just to see him off the books.

Does he take it or see his contract out? What would you do if you know you are definitely out of favour with your Manager/club?

It’s a short career and they have to make as much as possible when they can.

He’ll probably go back to Sheffield United

Good morning pal. Well if it's the money he wants in a short career, he certainly won't be getting £190,000 a week at
Sheff Utd. IF he walks away he's leaving behind over £9 Million from his remaining contract and that's an awful lot of money.

Personally, I think he'll leave and go and sign as a free agent at either Chelsea/West Ham etc and still be on stupid money.

It was tongue in cheek Brin. If Man U want him off their books why don't they sell him for what his contract value is and give the money as compensation?

    Everyone keeps face then.

It's obscene and if true, in the cold light of day...

If Man Utd are daft enough to do this, more fool them.
If Maguire is daft enough to turn it down, more fool him.
If the rest of the football world is daft enough to accept this as the norm without comment, more fool them.

Personally, I wish the top 6(?) clubs would eff-off to the European super league that they secretly believe to be the promised land and leave the rest of us to enjoy the beautiful game as it should be run and played.

I got the impression Man Utd would like to sell him for £30 million but as he would probably get only half the wages at a new club, the £10 million is to subsidise this loss of earrings. Don’t think he would be a free agent.
