On formation, I've given up on those ideas. That analysis video that shows the angles made by the back three, and the pentagon made with the two midfielders is too important to the way we play - so I think any talk of us reverting to a back four is a waste of time.
This is worth a look AC. *scroll down the page to see all*

A 4-3-3 could see him play a bit of a Cal Roberts role.

The LWB comment was only because he said he tends to play on the left although he is right footed.

We obviously have a very good, modern coach who has us playing a style of football we could only dream of. Like AC suggests, it is hard to see how he can live away from a three…..but going forward someone will find a better way, maybe LW is that man!

Don't you think it's more likely he will be coached to fit our system rather than change our system to fit him in?

Probably….I just wondered, given the players we have…and signed….if LW may mix it up a bit. I’m not going to doubt ‘the radar’ but Randall looks like a Roberts type signing, who could only really play out wide right and cut inside. Is he any better than Austin at AM?…not sure, he looks very one footed. If we’re going to stick with wing backs then surely sign someone who has played that position and offers more going forward than Chicks? Just musings of an amateur though!

Cheers Gump - from those it seems like this right-footed wide-man/winger rarely plays wide right!
He looks like a No.8 as well and an impact sub (which we'll need more of next season)

In his interview he said he played LWB for LW at Swindon and although he was a winger at Sutton defended aswell and wasn’t phased if he was played at WB - wasn’t Nemane a winger ?

Maybe not a switching of system but you would fully expect us to need Plan B far more next season as Plan A was so consistently successful last season. Therefore more flexibility in the squad and system we play needed when we are going to struggle more in games in L2.
