Today certain artists can release anything will top both charts. Just had a look at new releases due out later this year Blur their new album give it a listen. Imelda May she's a proper woman singer I tried to put her with Ronnie Wood from Jeff Beck tribute concert from 2 weeks ago on Faces/Ronnie Wood thread but it said video not available. Glass Animals like. Wet Leg also but both need new songs out.

Last new artist I,ve found I liked was Olivia Dean who has had some airplay on mainstream radio too
Also a band called Deadletter from the Scarborough area who seem to have new ideas or perhaps it’s just the usual stuff but done a lot better than most

MT's interview on NY Talk podcast is excellent. Came across as very level headed and more than willing to share the secrets of management with supporters. His tales of the Cyprus break and the multitude of injuries help shed some light on what, at the time, had lots of supporters scratching their heads.

I reckon he's an ambitious fella and sees RUFC as a stepping stone to greater things. He appears to know what he wants and what he wants out of his players and staff. As long as TS supports him, I think he'll be a great asset to our club.

Will u tube both Olivia Dean & Deadletter like new artists never heard anything by them. Trouble is you don't hear from up & coming ones on much.

Also Coach Party, had a few big support slots recently including Wet Leg.

I caught Inhaler at Leadmill last night having seen them in Manchester last month
Very accomplished, sound for a young band, not entirely suprising I suppose.

As regards MT I really enjoyed the podcast as well.
He came across very well.
Pretty open and honest and a bit of a coup for the NYT boys getting him on.

I agree about his ambition, and it could well be another case of enjoy him while he's here,

But if he does move on to bigger and better things it could mean he's pushed us forward too hopefully.

Yes Inhaler are decent Magyar and on my Spotify liked list
Saw a bit of their set at the Big Weekend in Dundee on I player and they know how to get the crowd going

In training shop at BSC when I started in gallery they had a Surface Grinder got my turn on that. Downstairs other engineering machines had some time on each but they wanted lathe operators most so in end concentrated on them.

At BSC I worked in imperial measures were old lathes if you were working to a tight tolerance you took backlash out of what you were putting cuts on with or taking them off opposite ways with dti's on what did that with. Dial test indicators.
