    Thank you for your information.
Which tees were you playing from.
I found it a lot easier to play to my handicap playing from the back tees (White tees) than the forward Yellow tees at Downfield GC as the 7th, 13th and 14th holes were Par 4’s from the Yellow tees while they were Par 5’s from the White tees.

That is correct but you also have to keep the ball on the fairway.
When I played golf some days I could hole putts no bother and other days my putting was not so successful.

Wait till you get older and your handicap starts to go up. Then you might change your tune.
I gave up playing golf in February 2011 and I do not miss it.
I am shocked at the prices charged for a round of golf on courses like Carnoustie Championship, North Berwick and the Old Course at St Andrews.
Eventually they are going to price themselves out of the market.

14th is a par 5 off every tee.

Green tees on a Friday so 6500 yard course, had a gross 75 on Tues, yellow tees ( back ) in a stroke play matchplay game, that's my lowest AFF the back.

I am auld, well into senior category.

Get 2 nights and two rounds at drumoig for £185.

Senior mixed doubles during the week on some courses from £7.50, weekend up to say £20.

Played Pitlochry, Bothwell castle, Crieff, Alyth and kirrie so far this year, got Alford, banchory, Aboyne, Thornton and edzell to come.

Golf is as expensive as you want to make it.
