Notts, I suggest you reread laddos last paragraph
Shut up. Nothing to do with radar. This will all be the player and his agent. My client wants to play for you. Do you want him? Ermmmm let’s consult stats…. John goes on BBC site and sees DM scores 25 in the league above.
This is nothing to do with radar. The player wanted to come, clearly the gaffer and the board wanted him to come.

So refreshing to hear a footballer wanting to come to the club he supports simply for the love of it.
I'd heard he was being offered considerably more at Derby and I didn't think he would come.
Some will say its not in the clubs' 'model' but this signing could be the difference in other players wanting to sign.
As someone said earlier it akin to when Tony Hateley came here.
It sums up NCM more#viva
Tbh my posts have been misinterpreted or misread far worse than this in the past.
It's small potatoes, we all make mistakes (like me recently forgetting Scott had a lengthy illness last season D'oh!) and always provides a little comedy.
I think this is fair comment. It has to be regarded as quite the coup.
This isn't the typical Football Radar signing, in terms of recruiting talented but unheralded young players with sell-on value, but maybe that's a misinterpretation of their strategy. Perhaps if the data says they're the right signing and they've somehow become available, then age isn't as big a deciding factor as we thought. Bostock was maybe another example of that.
I work with a Derby fan who says McGoldrick was a class above at League One level last season and by far their best player, so if he comes anywhere near that form he should be dynamite in League Two. I do wonder whether the intention is to play him alongside Langstaff, or whether he's been signed as a ready-made replacement if a big bid comes in, but let's hope it's the former. Add Cedwyn Scott to the mix and our attack looks capable of doing serious damage, given the number of chances we create.
Who knows, it might also send a game-changing signal of our ambition to those out-of-contract players trying to decide their best next move.
NCM does make me laugh sometimes.
We’ve just accomplished a massive feat by signing DMcG and people are ranting over whether he is a radar signing or not!
I’ll be surprised if you can find any fan saying this is a poor signing, regardless of his reasons…which we all know are personal for him as he always said he’s come to Notts if possible.
Let’s enjoy it guys. Imagine our attack next season.
And if Cameron doesn’t sign in next few days…I’d be moving towards withdrawing offer. If the captain can’t commit now…
Little story from our very own Slats. Now if you're all sitting comfortably.............
Little McGoldrick story while I’m sat on holiday with my kid asleep on me…
I met ‘Didzy’ back in the spring when I sat down with him for
@bbcemt
. The door had barely opened and 💥 we were talking about Notts!
I was amazed at how much of a Notts fan he remained after all these years. During the interview I asked him about watching from afar this season & he openly admitted that Notts is still ‘his club’. He told me he still went to games when he could…
And so it was no surprise to see him at Wembley with a smile as wide as the arch overhead. Back to the spring…After the interview had finished we carried on chatting about Notts but he wasn’t asking in a way that a player does when eyeing a potential move - he asked as a fan…
it was just after the Wrexham game and he wanted to know what it was like to be there, to feel it.
I’ll leave out some of the other questions and the finer details but I did ask him then if he could ever see himself back at the club it all started at further down the line…
And here we are…further down the line.
Didzy told me that a year ago he considered calling it a day when his phone wasn’t ringing with offers after release from Sheffield United. This summer he’ll have had a lot of offers. It speaks volumes of his character and the club’s leadership that this deal has happened.
Think this pretty much confirms Ruben won't be staying sadly.
