Yes, it was a politically motivated complaint that had no substance.

Not arrested that I can find but investigated by Police over payments to his wife which he eventually admitted and resigned for. I remember documents being destroyed, the whole thing stank worse than the Murrells alleged crimes.

That is correct, he admitted 5 of these sub lets but omitted a group called New age which turned out to be a ghost company receiving council funds. New Age was a fake organisation to which his wife Julie McCleish who was head of Counsel services for the elderly approved payments to, some of which ended up in Mcleishes hipper.
