You, then come along and stick your size 18's in, calling posters childish for having a laugh.
This is one of the reasons why some posters don't post often. The serious posts are ridiculed and the fun jokey ones are condemned.
I wouldn’t describe those comments as containing any element of humour.
    It’s sarcasm.
Personally I don’t like sarcasm - especially sarcasm aimed at undermining something I care about (eg BFC) and before the facts are known.
IMO we should be bigging the club up - not trying to pull it down.
But as always - that’s just my own opinion.

I love sarcasm. I also love the serious posts, i love the club, but whats gone on over the past years with the owners will take a hell of a lot of forgetting… and while I admire your unstinting loyalty to the owners, Oulare etc, the mistrust will always be there while they are.
Some of us come here as much for the humour ( often sarcastic and satirical) as the serious stuff.

The big news could be that the new lease allows the opportunity to explore the possibility of building a new West Stand.

The big news could be that the Covenant protecting Oakwell from a use other than sport has been removed allowing the site to be sold and a new Oakwell bowl, The Parekh Stadium, is to be built on the Dearne Industrial Estate.

The excitement is now palpable on Grove Street awaiting Ahmad's news. Ahmad knows, Gally knows, what abart the ordinary fans ?
It's just speculation as to what the news might be Nudge pure and simple.

Your loyalty to Ahmad is admirable. People soon forget the Oxford friendly cancellation, the moving of long standing fans from their West Stand seats on dubious grounds and the Hex sponsorship debacle.

As Jules has mentioned I think you sometimes confuse satire for sarcasm. The Big News Tease does deserve a bit of good natured satire.

And still no news from Khaledo & co, will it even be for something this season ? lol.
Making bold statements like this does get fans 'on the hook' of course, but it's not a good idea to let it drag on and on, like it seems to be doing. 🙁

In classical news management theory the best way to bury/ deflect bad news is to immediately announce good news and focus Official Statements on the good news.

Should Duff go on a day sometime this coming week expect the Big News Tease to be revealed very soon after, probably on the same day.

My sources tell me the final "tweaks" are being made to the wording of the Statement.

The full report is at the printers under strict security.

As Ahmad has said, "Something big and exciting is coming".

We may just have had the "big and exciting news" revealed on the Official Website.

The extension of a sponsor scheme with Rapid Response Telecoms, a local fibre firm, has been announced.

The write up includes the words/phrases--

    "exciting collaboration"

"BFC and Rapid Response are excited" about the schemes potential

Ahmad says "We are excited for the next two years and what we can achieve together"

With all this excitement this could indeed be the "exciting" news we have waited for. The company's logo will feature on the arse of shorts, on Toby Tykes kit and on "Legends" material. 110 £10 Kids Season Tickets will be donated.

I have no loyalty to Khaled.
He, like Duff is not a fan he’s an employee.
However I do wish Khaled luck and hope that he’s good at his job.
