Blood is right as who you play first game is no more relevant than who Solihull Motors play!

That said - you are welcome and you post some good stuff. Some strange dudes on your forum though including the p rick Sausage and Egg and the Prince Andrew impersonator who likes young kids stuff!

I have absolutely no interest in the Premier league. It’s Ironic that so many of us bust a gut to get there only to find it’s a league of 6 teams and the remaining teams just waiting for the season they end in the bottom three. Pointless league.

Just imagine supporting a Scottish club other than Celtic/Rangers. Since the inception of the Premier league in 1998 both these teams have won it 25 times between them with no other club even getting a sniff.

Since the mid 1930s 5 clubs have won the Portuguese First Division (Primeira Liga). Boavista and Belenenses have 1 victory each - all the rest go to 3 clubs: Benfica, Porto and Sporting Lissabon…

And in Germany, FC Bayern München have 11 in a row…

You are completely right Boingy, Supporters are ripped off at places like Chelsea and Man City and no fun as you can’t hope to compete.

Strange but love the banter at places like Hull etc and pints of beer cost around £3. Got more into the social side of going to matches which is important and fun.

I can’t understand why 55,000 people turn up to watch Celtic beat a collection of sheep and grouse each week.

The one thing I will say about the Premier League is this, every match felt like a big event because so much rested on preserving Premier status.

Championship just feels like a relentless dirge.

I’m really hoping we can get up again before I die.

I’m planning on living until I’m 200 to give myself a sliver of a chance.
