Rumours now going around that Spuds are preparing a realistic bid.

It's early in the window so I wonder how long Leicester will hold out for competitive bids.

The decision, I feel will rest on the player himself. If he wants Spurs for a few grand a week more I'd question his ambition and we dodge a bullet. We are in the up, maybe offer a bonus to the player himself on personal terms based in table position. Spurs might offer a crazy fee but if the player doesn't want to go it won't happen.

I agree. If it’s true that Maddison wants to go to Spurs ahead of us when we have CL football and they aren’t in Europe at all then I categorically don’t want us to try and sign him.

I'd say we're already playing hardball on it with the fact we're going after this Tonali.

If Spurs pull out, I could see Leicester come begging to be honest and we end up getting him cheaper but with add ons.
