If you believe the twitter-azzi, this one is getting closer and closer.

if he signs, where will he play?

i dont actually know what position he takes up, does he play the number 10 role behind a striker?

we dont have a role like that in the current set up. Maybe he will play in Miggy's position

I see him as a more experienced Gordon. Decent signing.

He'll be the most creative player we have. Great signing...hopefully....

His talent and stats stand up but I have question marks since Christmas.

No way a team with him, Tielemans, Barnes and Vardy should have been relegated. At the right price (20-40 max based on contract and relegation situation) I'd be happy and if he comes out of the blocks, well I could be convinced.

Replaces Miggy, or if we were to have a great window and get Diaby as well then replaces Longstaff or Willock (depending on the game) in Midfield and Bruno ends up sitting back more.

I think Gordon and Joelinton will occupy the spot on the left all next season, and we might see one of Miggy or Murphy move on… and I’m gonna say I’d rather keep Murphy of the two.

Leicester’s problem wasn’t creating chances or scoring goals. They simply couldn’t defend or press effectively.

Maddison would add creativity that we don’t currently possess. He can break down defensive formations with a killer pass or cross. If we’re going to continue with the same formation, which is likely, he’d play wide right in Miggy’s role. He could play right side of a midfield 3 if we’re chasing the game but he doesn’t have the legs for that role from the start. He would be a good signing but we won’t overpay. I can see it dragging on until Leicester bottle it and reduce the asking price given they’re desperate for cash.

Trouble with waiting is that Spuds are hovering too and they just cough up what the asking club wants. It will boil down to how much he wants to be here rather than North Laandaan.

If I was a player with no club love for us or Spurs I'd take less money to play for us.

I'd question his ambition going there.

See Chelsea apparantly have said no to 40 mill for Mount. I think Rice and him are buddues so you would have a good chance at the two if you signed one.

I like Rice but not Mount and certainly Rice isn't a 100 mill player.
