After they let many players go mid season when the "gave up" their promotion push, it may be an ambititon or financial descision here.

When managers are sacked the language tends to be something like "has left the club, we thank them for their service and wish them well for the future". I think there's enough in Solihull's statement to suggest they're genuinely disappointed and he may have instigated his departure. Hopefully he can get a job back in the league somewhere.

"left by mutual consent" can mean other things though. If he didn't like the way Solihull was going as a club then we should expect to see him as manager at a better club very soon, if he ends up somewhere just as cr@p then this probably was a sacking to all intents and purposes.
    York has been suggested.
Huge difference is Kiwomya and Ince both "left by mutual consent" due to results during the season not 2 months after the season ended like Ardley. If the NA departure was club instigated why wait till end of June?

Agree with Countygump after their surprise cost cutting near the end of the season this sounds very much like NA decision aka mutual consent.

Apparently they’ve agreed to sell Sabarra to notts and Ardley fell out with the owner over it

He’s a million % better manager than the likes of Ince, I’m pretty sure he’ll manage in L2 or L1 quite soon.

    Maybe???

Doesn't sound like a sacking to me.

Manager Neal Ardley has left National League side Solihull Moors by mutual consent after two seasons in charge.

The Moors finished in mid-table last season after failing to win any of their final eight games, a year after making the play-off final.

Chairman Darryl Eales said Ardley's departure was "amicable".

The 2021-22 campaign saw them achieve the second-highest finish in the club's history, ending up third before losing to Grimsby Town in the play-off final.

A statement on the Moors website said the club were "disappointed" to announce former AFC Wimbledon and Notts County boss Ardley's departure, and Eales said: "It has been a pleasure to work with Neal over the past two seasons.

"He has overseen our continued push as a club to punch above our weight and operate to the highest professional standards.

"He led the club to our best ever season in 2021-22 where we reached the National League promotion final and generally introduced a fast-paced style of play which is attractive on the eye and has been at the forefront of our player development philosophy.

"This is an amicable and respectful parting of the ways, wholly consistent with Neal's values and character, and I wish him every success in the future."

I think Warsop just got a little excited prematurely.

NA is better than an unambitious Solihull Moors.

John told me weeks ago we were still interested in Sbarra, whether we'll get him or not, who knows?

I believe Neal Ardley to be a good man, and began the positive changes at Meadow Lane, without achieving the ultimate goal.
I wish him much success in the future.
