Have Liverpool got a scouting system of their own

or are they just hangers on, waiting for others to do the unearthing work, just to jump in late with stupid offers and topping other club's wage offer.

I've noticed it time and time again, and it's happening with our deal with Szoboszlai. They never show early interest until another club is after a player then the Liverpool mode kicks in and they try to muscle in.

Their other forte is to go after established names after other clubs have brought a player on and developed him into a bit of class.

They have had a few from us over the years and oddly enough not done much with them, the exception of course was James Milner.

    Lazy man's way I think.

No, most of the top teams scouting is poor.

They have agent relations which means they have recruitment meetings with the big agencies and agents where they are presented a group of players represented by the agencies.

This is why you see teams where Jorge Mendez has 3-5 clients for example.

The diamonds in the rough who are not with a big agency who are picked up by Brighton etc are then poached by the big clubs and they see the additional price paid buying a player who has proven to be a success in the prem at a smaller team as worthwhile as it reduces the risk factor of the player being a flop.

Spot on Bill, I've noticed this time and again myself over the years. Wait until a team shows interest in a player then jump on. They also have a tendancy to leech on other club's talent, they have done it with us Bournemouth and Southampton countless times, The bindippers eh? ha ha.

Liverpool as a bunch of people are known as bindippers for a reason.

My mothers family are all from Liverpool and my fathers from Newcastle.

Liverpool is a city full of proud people who love to praise their city but i would not trust any of them with the whereabouts of a birds nest.

They are all chancers, "scally's" arrogant, thieving people who don't know a hard days work if it kicked them in the face!

Every single one of them LOVES and i mean LOVES being a victim, if you have broken your leg, the scouser you are talking to has broken both of their legs!

When you walk into a room, a normal person looks you in the eye and greets you,

a scouser doesn't !! they say hello while scoping your wrists and fingers for watches and gold rings.

needless to say, some of my family and i, don't get along

yeah, they probably dont have a good scouting network

He’s been on a lot of clubs radars for a long time, especially after last season.

Same as Maddison would have been on Spurs radar.

They are both Prem clubs with lots more experience in scouting out the better players in Europe than we have been for a long long time

They used to buy all of Southampton's decent players. They moved onto Brightons

I would say Wijnaldum and Hamann worked out pretty well for them. Many haven't.
