Think he'd come in and do a good job for us to be honest and we need the quality depth with 4 competitions.
It's mooted that Jammy prefers to pay £5m less for stuff. Leading us to believe the mooted transfer is indeed a possibility.

    Moot! 🤣

I like Barnes as an attacking player but I’m not sure about his engine or pressing/defending capabilities. Eddie will know, though, so if we do sign him that’s not a concern. He’s a better finisher than Maxi although not as ‘electric’ (then again, who is?)

No other sport has cliches like football.

If Jammy’s mooted 35 million isn’t paid before the transfer window slams shut then we won’t get him over the line.

I wonder if Eddie’s thinking of playing maxi on the right wing? He seems to have done ok there when he’s switched during games.

Hi Guys Villan in peace, how is your transfer project going, happy. It all seems a bit slow, even City have only spent 40 million....as for Barnes, I think he would be better off at Villa as, he will get more game time if not, a regular first team place, I would have thought you guys would be aiming higher? We signed a world class defender 2 weeks ago apparently, but he has still to arrive...anyway good luck and all the best in the CL this season, I will be looking out for your progress.

Aalreet, Dave. Funnily enough, I thought he'd be a good fit for Villa. Aye, the whole market seems to be a bit slow at the moment. You would think it will pick up in the next couple of weeks as players start to return for pre season.

And cheers, same to you. Not expecting to finish as high this season, partly because of having CL football but also because Liverpool and Chelsea will be properly in the mix this season. Your man Emery is a bit of a cup specialist so you could go far in Europe yourselves.

An club insider, close to the deal mooted the move was close as the Tyneside club open their war chest to splash the cash on the Burnley born schemer.

The clubs are thrashing out a deal behind closed doors (despite it being reported on social media & in the press) to structure a deal worth a whopping £35million!

    Now look at these T!ts!
