    Gps

.....its taken me all this time to realise that those sports bras footballers wear these days are needed to measure performance, distance ran etc, etc with a GPS slotted in the back that has to be skin tight.

For some reason I thought it was some kind of lightweight vest replacement to avoid players getting runners nippple.

I am getting too old! 😄😄

Indeed we have Jammy. It was our generation that invented it.

One of those things I noticed but never questioned. Every day a school day.

As a 43 yr old I love the collective 'We' that invented the internet. Pretty sure it was a fella called Tim Berners-Lee unless I'm mistaken that invented the internet.

"invented the Web while at CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory, in 1989. He wrote the first web client and server in 1990. His specifications of URIs, HTTP and HTML were refined as Web technology spread."

We did the square root of F**k all but we'll all stick our right hand up and do a lap like Shearer after scoring a goal

I was twenty when the internet was invented. That’s why I said it was ‘our generation’. Took me another 20 years to learn how to use it so certainly not claiming any ‘we’.

I guess it depends what you define as the internet. If its computerd sharing information then it probably goes back further to the beginning of the ARPANET established in 1969. Maybe even before that.
