After watching the MT interview post Elche match he did not look too happy, saying that we need strengthening.I hope the chairman IS going to back this manager.A manager described by TS as the best he has ever appointed. If that is the case BACK HIM.

As fans, we have to show patience. Rumours of us getting two Premier league players in on loan, if successful, won't happen until all the Prem clubs return from their Pre season tours from abroad. Don't forget the Prem doesn't start until a week after we kick off.

It will be down to the wire. Billy Sharp wanting 10 days to respond to us and the fact he hasn't announced signing for anyone else yet, makes me feel he's inbound. I might be jumping the gun, but like someone posted the other day, he's 38 next, but still as fit as a farm yard dog, and he's probably on his jollies with the family and has already made his mind up.

Coventry trek from Sheffield everyday for training 90+ miles or 10-15 miles to be at Rotherham, with, a very decent offer on the table?
We have a lot on our side to him signing up. Just show that ounce of patience, I too are thinking what is going on but, as they say sometimes patience is a virtue.

    I blame Jean-Marc Bosman.
The players have all the power now. That's why they run their contracts down and play a waiting game on new offers.
That is why footballers are now mercenaries and that is why us and most other clubs are in the same boat with only a few weeks to go until the season begins.
Thanks Mr Bosman you two hat

Why should footballers have to endure working terms and conditions that existed in no other business? Slavery was abolished two centuries before Bosman came along so it was time football caught up. There are many things to blame for the state of today's game but I don't think the Bosman ruling is one of them.
