No its not arrogance, its experience and knowledge, having seen some great players of the past and some very good ones at Crewe too, I think I can say with confidence what is true or not...Arrogance can be a good thing if its based on truth and my posts are nothing but the truth. A million a year on coaching and no shots on goal? And you all think that is progress???????? Bring back Frank Lord and Jimmy Greaves, and George Best, and Bobby Charlton and John Mahoney...Not one bloody coaching lesson did they have and none needed...Garry Player said when the coach can play better golf than him, he will take notice....

Actually you are right...There is NOBODY that I know with better qualifications AND experience and I mean in total, not one here or there..

However, none of that matters if you have a Boss who uses the caravan of the most useless person you can think of who will get the job irrespective and that is what happens in life and always has...IE Its WHO you know, not what you know...

Serious question..

What can a Coach instruct a footballer with natural talent do on a daily basis...Tell, him how to kick a ball? Head a ball? Tackle a player? Move fast around a player, don't get booked? Throw a ball? score a goal? There is NOTHING a second rate coach or even a first rate coach if there is such a human being, that knows more about HOW to play this game than a naturally gifted player and IF you don't have these skills, you should be doing something different...Players of the past were signed based on their talent. We have 6 year olds playing in academies..

You're right! I keep saying I'm going to ignore him. I should just understand he has a problem and needs our sympathy but not our attention. I realise that deep down is her desperation to gain attention. I will endeavour (again!&#128542 not to feed it.
