Agree the kit looks good, but the colour in the pic looks different to the ones in the club shop. It looks more of a turquoise / sky blue in the match report, the one in the club shop is closer to a royal blue. This shows what I mean, maybe someone cleverer can turn the links to images:

Either the players have a different batch, or it's down to the camera.

The description on the shirt packaging is “Italy Blue”, which to me is an apter way of describing pic 1 than pic 2. Can any eyewitnesses at the game say if the difference is that marked?

Also, how did we play? LW didn’t sound too happy with parts of the performance, but the Twitter feed made it sound like we could have scored 5 or 6.

I'm a little concerned about Macca not getting enough service. Early days, but i dont think this partnership with McGoldrick is doing him any favours...

Now I'd have said pic 2 is far nearer to "Italy Blue" than pic 1?

Someone must have one at home.
    Which looks the closest?

I did say a couple of weeks ago that this season will be telling for ML, no way is he going to have the freedom of movement he had last season. One thing is for certain, we need to get the ball to him quicker than the endless sideways football we were forced into towards the end of the season allowed us. Looking at the highlights against Telford there did appear to be a quicker passing phase (especially those JJ crosses we saw). Let's hope that is the new way?

The great thing about the second goal was the movement and pace of movement of the ball, JB with a defence splitting pass to DM who controlled, turned and passed to JJ out wide in one move and then of course the delivery.

There was a few games towards the end of last season, both home and away where he had made run into space, only for the ball to be played sideways. This was more evident when JB arrived on the scene, and the service to Macca got less..
