Kioso I'd have sooner kept him than resigning Peltier. PK my opinion his best position would be as a defensive right wing back. MT will be looking for a more attacking player on the right.

MT not got players for any formation at moment. 4 3 3. Not enough forruds. No right back. 4 4 2. No wide players on wings. 3 5 2. No wing backs. Not only that we need cover with regard to forwards/ full backs/ wing backs. The only thing we do have cover for is centre backs, cms and goalies. And arguably we have centre backs that will hardly play all season.

The futures NOT bright. It's red and white. Never mind the cavalry might arrive at the last min like in all good cowboy films.

If we are in the situation that a player must leave before one comes in, then the finances must be in a mess, I am not sure they are in a mess so i hope we are not playing the game.

We know we have a limited budget, however it is that a budget, you balance a budget over the season not before it starts. There will be a target wage bill, a target signing on, bonus, transfer fee budget as well, you ensure you hit your target for the end of the window not this early. If we ignore those first group of matches (I think it is 6!!) and don't expect to have our squad ready until september then that is a very stupid strategy, we are very likely to be bottom 3 early on and then that will take a lot to claw out of. Also why would Wiles and Rathbone sign new deals at the moment? They are not seeing a squad being built that would excite them and so they can wait until September until the see what investment has been made, before they commit.

The manager has stated that none of the young players are ready for the championship, what does that say about our academy and this means that we need even more senior players if the young players can't even be on the fringe of the first team squad. MT did what he had to do last season, he kept us up after the loss of Warne, but based on a good start, he hasn't a cat in hells chance with this squad and the speed this squad is being built. Lets see what the next 2 weeks bring
I wonder to what extent the budget has been impacted by MT's demands to improve the training facilities and bring the pitches up to a similar standard to NYS.
I can't imagine that will have been cheap and I would be very surprised if TS created a separate expenditure stream to fund the work.

Good point however it depends on the finance, that could be capital rather than operational expenditure.

He better have done. No point improving the facilities otherwise. We need quality training on quality.

Nah, I did alright on the Prediction League last season. I think Brin was pretty crap. However, I'm sure there are other things that tell us apart also....

Taylor has also said he needs players who can play the majority off the season injury free.

So maybe with his injury record last year Mt feels he can't rely on him.to go through a season.

I need someone who pays his losing bets up but with you I didn't get it especially to the Rotherham Hospice! that's not acceptable. I won't forget even though rest on here seem to have!

One thing that is certain is that there are no rumours around players that we are interested in what so ever. Whether this is down to the club after past mistakes under Warne or it is the way MT does things. If my memory serves me correctly,I don't think we had signed that many at this stage last season but the constant supply of rumours kept everyone comfortable that matters were in hand. The 'silence' this time around gets everyone on edge. The reality may be that there is an influx of players on their way in but the tip offs and 'nods' to the press are a thing of the past!
