    That’s a big concern.
What’s he been doing since early May, eating pizza and going on multiple holidays or has he been training with SUFC perhaps.
The situation is coming across as a bit disrespectful now to the clubs showing an interest in him

Not disrespectful at all,he is doing what he is perfectly entitled to do.the lever is with us we should withdraw the offer on the table if we are not happy with how things are progressing..

It is if he isn’t fit and not preparing for the first match.
That is the case for any future employer, not just Rufc, because he will be getting paid but not able to do his job properly

Why do we get involved in rubbish like this?
Sharp is 37 and last season proved his best days are far, far behind him.
Let him go to Bradford or wherever and let us show a bit of forward thinking and sign someone who wants to be here and who we can improve.
Added to that, I think there's a lot more to come from Georgie Kelly and I'm hoping our new coach will be able to bring out the best in him.
I'm pretty sure he will get more goals than Sharp ever would if he's given a reasonable chance.

Spot on mellow. Forget Sharpe move on to someone who wants to be with us and will improve. Both green and stanford are young enough to improve with us, Sharpe is only going down hill now.

MT running out of patience with Sharp....

    https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.u...-mix_46015.htm

Unsurprising. Do you want to come here or not? After a while it irks and Gru seems right on this one, heart isn't in it. Yes or no? Simple.

In that article it would seem as though MT is sending a message to Sharp, trying to usher his decision along. There will be other options for us, as well as him.

My view is that any offer we put out to someone should have a time limit on it. Otherwise we can miss out on people who might actually really want to play for us.

Mellow, indeed. Maybe his days are also numbered with us hence the interest in other players.

At this rate of recruitment I think we will have to come up with a new formation against Stoke:

    Johansson
Peltier, Morisson, Hall, Humphreys, Blackett, Bramall
    Cafu, Rathbone, Wiles
    Hugill

I know it will upset some people I haven't got McCart in there but I fully expect him to play as at least one of the defenders I've picked will be injured.
