It is just annoying that some even thought it was a bit racist, just because the word black was used.

Sorry 1959 but it seems you just don't get it - no one is saying you are racist but what you said actually was racist - Many of us have shown unconcious bias including myself but we need to learn from it. Why you want to keep this going?

If he ever gets fit, perhaps he could be nicknamed "the Wind"?

Notts said when they signed him it was for the long term, they knew he was injured and wouldn’t play a lot last season and he’s just picked up another injury. It could be connected to the first or not but I’m confident their assessment would have been right initially.

"We have dropped this" - So you speak on behalf of the whole board? You may be right , but individuals should be free to make their point, even if no-one is interested!

I also trust Radar's judgement and I'm sure we signed him as a replacement for Langstaff. Who at that time looked a sure bet to be leave if Notts had anything like a decent offer. We may not have expected him to be so prolific but his pace and willingness to work hard occupying defenders as Langstaff does ticks many boxes.
Surprisingly to me, Langstaff is still here, we've signed McGoldrick and that gives Maria's time to get fit. Let's hope he can soon overcome his injuries and we get to see the best of him.
